I'm a rising junior at the University of Michigan studying Math and Cognitive Science (computation track) thinking about tacking on a minor in CS. I love math and hope to do research for a career, either in academia or industry. I also do some other stuff - like software and robots in space.
Stochastic modeling, Bayesian inference, Optimal stopping problems in random walks, Probabilistic approaches to real-world problems
Options theory, stochastic processes, mathematics underlying financial markets
Statistical arbitrage, pairs trading, mean-reversion strategies, quantitative signal generation
Physics-based simulation, space logistics, scientific computing at scale
How the mind computes, decision-making under uncertainty, consciousness
Current and recent courses at the University of Michigan.
When I'm not grinding endless homework, you'll find me hitting tennis balls, at the climbing gym, or stealing my friends money in poker. I am also an avid backpacker. I cook a ton, and specialize in Jamaican food. Crosswords and puzzles are a ritual.
